About Us
History of Campus Outreach Charlotte
Campus Outreach started in 1978 at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Since then, Campus Outreach has expanded to various regions across the United States and around the world.
In 1995, eight staff were commissioned and sent by First Presbyterian Church (Augusta, GA) to Christ Covenant Church (Charlotte, NC) to begin ministries at UNC Charlotte and UNC Greensboro with the hope of establishing a long-term team to serve campuses in central North Carolina.
Over the years, God has graciously grown the ministry and brought hundreds of college students to Himself, matured them into faithful laborers, and mobilized them to serve Him in a variety of callings throughout the world.
